Draft for human and legal review

Terms of use

Last updated 26 July 2026 · Not yet effective for a public service

These terms describe the intended pre-launch Liki service. Final legal identity, governing-law and liability wording must be reviewed before public registration opens.

1. Platform role

Liki is a task-matching platform for adults. A task owner can publish a paid local task. Other users can message the owner and submit an Offer. The owner may select one helper. The users—not Liki—make the agreement about the work, timing and payment.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account and profile information. Keep your credentials secure and do not create an account for another person without authority.

3. Tasks and Offers

Describe tasks, locations, timing, requirements and rewards accurately. An Offer should state the proposed price and relevant details. Selecting a helper records the match and gives that helper access to the exact task address. Material task changes may require the helper to confirm again.

4. Direct payment

Payment is handled directly between users using the method they agree. Liki does not currently hold funds, guarantee payment, provide escrow or decide whether a payment obligation has been legally satisfied. In-app “sent” and “received” actions are user acknowledgements.

5. Cancellations and disputes

Users should communicate promptly and give an accurate reason when cancelling. A cancelled task may be reopened where the workflow allows. A participant can open a dispute in supported task states. Opening a dispute records the concern; it does not decide who is right or guarantee compensation.

6. Prohibited activity

Do not use Liki for illegal, dangerous, deceptive, discriminatory or exploitative activity; harassment; weapons; controlled substances; sexual services; unlicensed regulated work; account abuse; spam; or attempts to bypass safety controls. Do not publish another person’s private information without a lawful reason.

7. Safety, reports and blocking

Users can report profiles, tasks and messages and can block contact where the workflow permits. Liki may review reports, restrict features, suspend accounts or preserve relevant records. Liki is not an emergency service. See the Safety page.

8. Suspension and termination

Liki may restrict or suspend an account to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, meet legal obligations or maintain the service. Users can request deletion, subject to the stated grace period and lawful retention needs.

9. Availability and platform limits

The service may change, be interrupted or contain errors, especially during testing. Liki facilitates introductions and workflow records but does not supervise the work, verify every user identity or guarantee task quality, conduct, safety or payment.

10. Governing law and disputes

The final governing-law, consumer-rights, venue and limitation-of-liability wording requires review by Finnish counsel before these terms become effective.
