Terms of use

These Terms govern your use of Liki. The service is provided by Zhao Zhizhou, trading as Cloudberry Studio, Business ID 3540337-9, Tervakukkakuja 1 as. 33, 90580 Oulu, Finland (“Liki”, “we” or “us”). By creating an account or using Liki, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Platform role

Liki is a local task and service matching platform for adults. Users can publish tasks, make Offers, communicate and record task progress. When a task owner accepts an Offer, the task owner and helper make a direct agreement with each other about the work, timing and payment. Liki is not a party to that agreement, an employer, employment agency or representative of either user.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, be legally able to enter into agreements and provide accurate account and profile information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may not impersonate another person, create an account without authority or transfer your account to someone else.

3. Tasks, Offers and user responsibilities

Describe tasks, locations, timing, requirements and rewards accurately. Offers must state the proposed price and relevant conditions. Users are responsible for checking that they have the skills, permits, insurance and legal authority required for a task. Selecting a helper records the match and may reveal the exact task address to that helper. Material changes should be agreed by both users.

4. Direct payments

Payments are made directly between users using a method they agree. Liki does not process or hold funds, provide escrow, guarantee payment, collect a commission or decide whether a payment obligation has been legally satisfied. In-app “sent”, “received”, “paid” or similar actions are workflow acknowledgements by users, not confirmation by a payment provider.

5. User content and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit, including task descriptions, profile information, messages, images and reviews. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. You grant Liki a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, moderate and show that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and promote the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where continued retention is required by law, safety, dispute handling, backup cycles or the rights of other users.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use Liki for illegal, dangerous, deceptive, discriminatory or exploitative activity; harassment or threats; weapons; controlled substances; sexual services; unlicensed regulated work; fraud; spam; account abuse; intellectual-property infringement; or attempts to bypass safety controls. Do not publish another person’s private information without a lawful basis or upload content that you do not have the right to use.

7. Moderation, reports and blocking

Users can report profiles, tasks and messages and can block contact where the workflow permits. We may review, restrict, remove or preserve content; limit features; or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, investigate suspected misuse, meet legal obligations or maintain the service. We do not undertake to monitor all content. Liki is not an emergency service. See the Safety page.

8. Cancellations and disputes

Users should communicate promptly and give an accurate reason when cancelling. A cancelled task may be reopened where the workflow allows. A participant can open a dispute in supported task states and should retain relevant communications and payment records. Liki may support communication and review misuse reports, but does not act as a court, decide contractual liability or guarantee compensation.

9. Account deletion and termination

You may request account deletion in the app or through our account deletion page. Deletion follows the stated grace period and may be limited by lawful retention, fraud prevention, safety or dispute needs. You may stop using Liki at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue, including direct user obligations, intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute terms, survive termination.

10. Service availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep Liki available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Liki facilitates introductions and workflow records but does not supervise tasks, verify every user identity, guarantee a user’s conduct or qualifications, or guarantee task quality, safety or payment. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Liki is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, loss of data, or loss arising from a direct agreement or interaction between users. You remain responsible for your own decisions, agreements, tax obligations and conduct. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence where Finnish law does not permit limitation.

12. Finnish law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law, without restricting mandatory rights available to consumers under the law of their country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Consumers may also contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and submit a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. Legal proceedings may be brought in the competent Finnish court or any court available to a consumer under mandatory law.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the service, law or our operations change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes in the app or by other appropriate means. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using Liki and request account deletion.
