Data used by the service

Why data is used

Data is used to create accounts, check age eligibility, show profiles and tasks, connect task owners with helpers, run the task workflow, deliver messages and notifications, protect exact addresses, record user confirmations, respond to safety reports and disputes, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service and handle deletion requests.

Visibility

Profile information and approximate task locations may be visible to other users. The exact task address is returned only to the task owner and the selected helper. Offers, conversations and task reviews are restricted according to participant roles; reviews stay private until both participants submit in the current implementation.

Device storage and service storage

The iOS app stores its session token in the iOS Keychain and keeps a protected local cache of app data on the device. Service data is stored in the backend database and backup copies. The final production hosting region, backup retention and service-provider list are not yet finalized.

Payments

Liki does not currently process payments. Users pay each other directly. The service stores task payment-method descriptions and user acknowledgements that payment was sent or received; it does not store payment-card details in the current implementation.

Account deletion

An in-app request creates a 30-day grace period and can be cancelled during that period. After the grace period, an operator-run process anonymizes the account, profile and user-authored content, removes selected records and closes active work. Some de-identified workflow, safety or legal records remain. The operator must explicitly confirm the process after reviewing the retention policy. See Delete your account.

Service providers and international transfers

No final production processor list or international-transfer mechanism has been approved. These details will be published before production data is processed.

Your choices

You can edit profile information, choose English or Finnish, block or unblock users, request account deletion and contact us about access, correction or other privacy rights. The exact legal response process will be finalized before public launch.
